Arcane Rebirth is my animation for second season of Slimes Family Collection(SFC).

SFC is one of the program in Somos Axolotl to push back againts the potential extinction of Axolotl.

Poem

In dark waters, she swims away,  

From arrows aimed, from threats that stay.  

The poisoned depths, a silent snare,  

She tires, but still, she lingers there. 

An arrow strikes, the world goes still,  

Yet hope survives beneath the chill.  

In liquid form, she starts anew,  

Regenerates with strength that grew.  

From brokenness, she rises whole,  

A symbol of an endless soul.  

Through seamless tides, her story flows,  

In every drop, her future grows.

Story

In the opening scene, we catch sight of our little Axolotl friend gracefully gliding away from trouble. In the backdrop, a pointed arrow looms, symbolizing the dangers lurking in its environment

Here, our resilient Axolotl companion eventually grows weary. Encircled by ominous black elements, she finds herself engulfed in a metaphorical representation of the toxic waters she calls home.

In a heart-wrenching moment, an arrow finds its mark, representing the devastating end of our Axolotl friend's struggle. This arrow serves as a reminder of the poisonous water she's been battling against.

Some of you probably not noticing this red frame, when the arrow strike. This part is one my favorite frame to work on, as it adds more impact when the arrow strike.

This scene draws inspiration when I researching about Axolotl and know about the miraculous regenerative abilities of the Axolotl. Fluid-like shapes depict her regenerating amidst the water, symbolizing her remarkable resilience.
