NKCTHI (Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini) / (One Day We'll Talk About Today) is movie adaptation of a book by Marchella FP. This is the first book from Marchella that got adapted into a film. I had the pleasure to make a title sequence for this. This is my first time working on a frame by frame animation for a commecial projects.

Working alongside with my wife Marissa Pratiwi as an Art Director and team at ARAS Motion And Design we crafted this frame by frame animation that got inspired by the original art of the book.

Our direction for this title sequence is we want to bring the original illustration from the book to live. We want the viewer to have a familiar feel when they see the title sequence, because the illustration from the book is unique.

We also took some illustration from the book and put it in a sequence to create a story that seamlessly blends from one scene to another

The challange in this project is the time and the human resource that work on the animation. We did this with only 6 creatives, 3 junior creatives and 3 lead creatives. We finished all this in just 2 weeks! from the ideation and the execution.
